House fire in Lake Bluff 11-16-12
Hey everyone,
This is coming straight from Chuck Mankin. He just posted about a house fire that broke out earlier today at 427 Pine Ct in Lake Bluff. The emergency services were dispatched around 5 PM, and by the time the first responders arrived, there was visible smoke coming from the building. One person was taken to the hospital for treatment of minor burns. From what Chuck could gather, several local fire departments were involved, including Lake Bluff, Knollwood, Libertyville, Great Lakes, Lake Forest, Mundelein, and Countryside.
I’ve included some photos below that Chuck took himself. You can see the extent of the damage, especially in these images showing the affected area. There’s clearly a lot of work ahead for the homeowners if they plan to rebuild or repair the structure.
