August 2013: website updates 2

This is the second update in our ongoing effort to enhance the website with the latest information on emergency services across the region.

Several departments have recently updated their apparatus listings, reflecting new equipment, changes in vehicle assignments, and improved documentation. Here's a detailed look at the updates:

The Tinley Park Fire Department has added a new quint, enhancing its firefighting capabilities. Meanwhile, the Thornton Fire Department introduced a new engine, while Posen received a new squad unit. In Winfield, some apparatus numbers were partially updated, and West Chicago now features new medic units along with reassignments of existing equipment.

Carol Stream also saw additions to its medical fleet, including the introduction of Battalion 28. At Chicago Rescue 1 in O’Hare, the unit now includes a 2-7-8 configuration, which is an important part of their operational setup. Stone Park added a new ambulance, and Round Lake and Huntley both updated their station photos, offering a clearer visual representation of their facilities.

Oak Park, Berwyn, and Hinsdale each welcomed new ambulances, improving their emergency response options. Broadview added a new squad unit, while Downers Grove introduced a new battalion buggy. Cicero upgraded with a new shift commander car and an ambulance, and Schaumburg updated its ambulance fleet and added a new engine.

We continue to work closely with local departments to ensure accuracy and up-to-date information. If you have any questions or would like to see more details about a specific department, feel free to reach out. Stay tuned for future updates as we keep expanding and refining our resources.

EAV.Size 3, Propoortional Directional Spool Valve
