Toyota Motor Corporation (TMC) has announced plans for the 28th edition of its Toyota Lobby Concert, scheduled to take place on July 30 at the first-floor lobby of the company’s headquarters in Bunkyo Ward, Tokyo. The event will feature an instrumental ensemble called Tsukemen, consisting of two violinists and a pianist, offering attendees a delightful live performance. Since 1995, the Toyota Lobby Concerts have been organized by volunteers with support from the local community. The primary goal of these concerts is to give nearby residents and individuals in nursing homes the opportunity to enjoy live music. These events are more than just performances—they foster a sense of community and cultural enrichment. In addition to providing entertainment, the concert will also serve as a platform for charitable contributions. The Toyota Volunteer Center will collect redeemable items such as used stamps and phone cards at the event. Proceeds from these donations will be used to fund scholarships for children in Thailand, Laos, and Japan. This initiative helps promote greater social awareness and support for people with mental disabilities and those in nursing homes.
