Still & Box Alarm fire in Chicago, 7-26-19

This message comes from Eric Haak:

Chicago saw a still and box alarm on Thursday afternoon, July 26th, at 3051 West Irving Park Road. The fire was in the attic of a 2.5-story frame home that, after 1913, had a 1-story ordinary storefront added to it. I don’t often get the chance to be up that way anymore, so I made the drive through midday traffic and arrived just in time to see things wrapping up. I thought I’d share some photos of rigs that aren’t usually seen working as frequently.

It's always interesting to see how different departments handle similar incidents, and these images really capture the intensity and dedication of the crews. Some of these units aren't commonly seen in action, so it's a nice opportunity to highlight their work. If you're into fire department history or just appreciate good photography, this is definitely worth checking out. Thanks for sharing, Eric!
