How to Use:
1. Press the ON/OFF button to activate the device. It will beep and display the initial test for about 2 seconds. If you press the button for more than 2 seconds, the last recorded temperature will appear with an "M" mark.
2. 98.2°F (or 37.0°C) will then be displayed.
3. When "L" and flashing "°F" (or "°C") appears, the thermometer is ready for measurement. However, if the room temperature exceeds 89.6°F (32.0°C), the room temperature will be shown instead of "L".
4. A beep will sound once the temperature measurement is complete.
5. Press the ON/OFF button again to turn off the unit.
Note: The device will automatically power off after approximately ten minutes of use.

Taking an Oral Temperature:
Place the probe tip under the tongue as close as possible to the heat pocket. Approximate measuring time: 1 minute.
Taking an Axillary Temperature (Under the Arm):
Wipe the underarm with a dry towel and place the probe tip under the arm so it touches the skin, keeping the thermometer perpendicular to the body. Position the arm across the chest so the probe is well covered. Approximate measuring time: 2-3 minutes.
Note: Axillary temperatures are generally 1.0°F / 0.5°C lower than oral readings.
Taking a Rectal Temperature:
Apply a water-soluble lubricant to the probe cover. Gently insert the probe (maximum 1/2 inch) into the rectum. Approximate measuring time: 1 minute.

General Care:
- Only use the thermometer under adult supervision.
- Avoid walking, running, or talking during temperature taking.
- Store the unit in the protective case when not in use.

- Do not attempt to disassemble the unit, except to replace the battery.
Cleaning Instructions:
