LeeGiokSeng believes that to develop natural gas, we must first establish enough gas supply stations. Currently, there are a total of 4.96 million natural gas vehicles in 21 countries in the Asia Pacific region, and 6,800 gas stations have been built.

Xiong Weiming said that China is also making great efforts to build LNG facilities, and LNG vehicles will be the future direction of development.

It is also essential to have stable and long-term government support policies. At present, the domestic policy route is not yet clear. This is an important factor restricting the development of gas-electric hybrid commercialization. According to informed sources, the addition of a gas-electric hybrid system for buses requires an increase in the cost of 400,000 yuan, and the country has not yet introduced a corresponding subsidy policy.

In addition, natural gas vehicles are now mainly buses, but in the future, they will also develop into the field of passenger vehicles. Gas-electric hybrid vehicles have also become a hot spot for new energy vehicles after the hybrid electric vehicles.
