Qatar Rail is tasked with the comprehensive management of the country’s rail infrastructure, from initial design to long-term operation and maintenance. This initiative aligns directly with the Qatar National Vision 2030, which aims to build a sustainable and high-quality living environment for future generations. By selecting Autodesk’s BIM solutions, Qatar Rail is leveraging cutting-edge technology to support its ambitious infrastructure projects. The collaboration will help streamline project delivery, reduce costs, minimize rework, and improve decision-making across all phases of the railway development lifecycle. Over the next three years, Autodesk will provide a range of BIM-related services, starting with guidance on BIM standards, quality control, and cross-organizational integration. A dedicated technology platform will be implemented within Qatar Rail to support training, collaboration, and ongoing assistance for project teams.
