**Operating Principles:**
The separation occurs inside a rotating bowl. Feed is introduced through a stationary inlet pipe and accelerated in a distributor before entering the disc stack. The separation into liquid-liquid-solid takes place between the discs, with the lighter phase moving toward the center and the heavier phase being discharged at the periphery.
