Chicago MVA highway response, 1-23-16

This is from Steve Redick:

I took a few photos of what was reported as a "pin in" incident at EB JFK on Natoma. When I arrived, no one was actually pinned. At least one person was taken to a trauma center. It looked pretty serious… I hope the injuries were not too bad. There's a good view of the blocking technique used by the responders.

These images give a real-time look at how emergency crews responded to the scene. The blocking technique they used is a standard procedure in these types of incidents, but it’s always good to see it in action. It’s clear that the team worked quickly and efficiently. I’m hoping everyone involved is okay, and that the situation wasn’t as bad as it looked. If you're near the area, stay alert and keep an eye out for any updates from local authorities.
