The demand for high-end auto parts in the Chinese market is growing. In the first quarter of 2018, RECARO's new joint venture in China will open soon, and will supply RECARO performance seats for the Chinese automotive aftermarket.
Andorto (Shenzhen) Sports Seat Sales Co., Ltd. was jointly invested by Andorra Asia Holdings Limited and Shenzhen Kaiserma Technology Co., Ltd., which accounted for 50.01% and 49.99% respectively. As a sales joint venture, the company is headquartered in Shenzhen and will supply RECARO performance seats to nearly 250 car modification and accessories dealers across the country.

At the initial stage of the joint venture, the seat products for the Chinese market will be imported from the RECARO car seat business headquarters in Kirchheim/Teck, Germany, and the RECARO plant in Dongjin, Japan. The two original products, Sportster CS and Cross Sportster CS, are two of RECARO's most successful seat products, which have met China's 3C mandatory certification standards for imported goods. In addition, RECARO's series of racing bucket chairs approved by the International Automobile Federation (FIA) and the sports seat SR-7 SK100 produced by Japan's RECARO and also undergoing 3C certification will also officially enter the Chinese market.
It is reported that the new joint venture company is in the process of filing and industrial and commercial registration with the relevant Chinese authorities, which is expected to be completed by the end of February 2018.
