From November 25th to 26th, the national symposium on pest control technologies was held at Huazhong Agricultural University in Wuhan, Hubei Province. The conference was co-sponsored by the Key Laboratory of Insect Resource Utilization and Sustainable Management of Pests in China, China Plant Protection Society and Huazhong Agricultural University. Jiaduoke Industry and Trade Co., Ltd. and the Hubei Entomological Society jointly sponsored the conference. Pest control has received more and more attention. Light trapping, swatch trapping, sonar sound control, and microwave monitoring and control technologies have been widely used. Only frequency-resonant insecticidal lamps have been installed in 31 provinces (cities, districts) across the country. In 95% of the counties (cities) promoted and applied, the country has accumulatively controlled an area of ​​200 million mu. Participating experts and representatives believe that the physical monitoring and control technologies of pests have broad application prospects. It is recommended that the country pay more attention to the research and promotion of pests physical monitoring and control technologies so as to better serve modern agricultural production in China.
