**Product Introduction**
1. Battery-powered carbon monoxide alarm (commonly known as a smoke alarm).
2. High-volume alarm output (85 dB at 1 meter in front).
3. Uses a high-sensitivity, high-stability, long-life, zero-power chemical CO sensor with excellent resistance to alcohol interference.
4. Under normal conditions, the LED indicator flashes every 40 seconds. During an alarm, the LED flashes rapidly along with the alarm sound. Once CO levels drop, it returns to monitoring mode.
5. Built-in test function: Press the test button to verify the alarm function. It's recommended to test once a week.
6. Anti-back battery protection and low-voltage detection: A prompt sound is emitted every minute when the battery is low, indicating that it needs replacement soon.
7. Low standby power consumption (<0.35 mW), with an alarm working current of about 50 mA.
8. Optional normally open or normally closed contact outputs (customization required), making it easy to connect to control systems.
9. Easy battery installation and replacement.

**Product Advantages**
1. **Energy Efficient & Eco-Friendly:** Uses 3 AA batteries and can last more than a year.
2. **High Volume Alarm:** 85 dB for clear alerting.
3. **Low-Power Operation:** Minimal power usage during monitoring.
4. **LCD Display:** Shows three-digit CO concentration readings.
---
**Testing Method**
After powering on, let the alarm heat up for 10 minutes (new alarms should have fresh batteries). You can then test it using car or motorcycle exhaust.
**Note:** Make sure the battery is installed before testing. Press the center of the test button. Normally, the reading should be between 0–10 PPM. The alarm will automatically turn off after the screen lights up, indicating it is running.
---
**Installation Location**
Install the probe on the ceiling, no more than 30 cm from the ceiling. Avoid placing it near gas stoves, hoods, or areas where fumes may directly enter the detector, as this could reduce sensitivity.

**Carbon Monoxide Alarm**
Carbon monoxide poisoning, commonly referred to as gas poisoning, is one of the leading causes of death in China, ranking third after traffic accidents.
A carbon monoxide alarm is an essential device for preventing such incidents. When CO levels in the air exceed safe limits, it triggers a sound and light alarm, helping people evacuate quickly and take necessary preventive measures.
**Sources of Carbon Monoxide:**
- Incomplete combustion of carbon-based materials, such as coal fires, heating systems, and gas stoves.
- Faulty or improperly installed water heaters.
- Car engines idling in enclosed spaces.
By installing a reliable CO alarm, you can significantly improve safety and protect your home and family.
